Everyone desires a happily ever after, but not all are worthy.
For many of the unworthy do not believe in love and the joy it brings, instead, they believe in power and the gratification it provides.
Dawn believed otherwise.
She believed everyone had the opportunity to live a great, joyful life if they really wanted it, and if they thought there was no way, she knew she would be the one to give them one.
So when a good friend of hers, Shrek, makes a deal unbeknownst to her and everyone around him, she couldn't feel betrayed or even scold him as the deal he made wiped everyone's memory and thrusted them all into an alternate reality.
In this reality, where the relationship of Shrek and his wife, Fiona, never existed, how much would be changed? Would the love-filled and joyous reality everyone knew be gone forever? Will all that Dawn once fought for, knew and loved be forever out of her reach?
