Jack Nakamura arrives in Japan to spend the summer with his cousins and join a road trip with their friend group - including the beautiful and unpredictable Luna Aoyama. The group - Jack, Luna, Riku, Kaito, Yumi, and Mika- plans a weekend getaway to a serene, off-map lake town nestled in the mountains. But their plans take a turn when a thunderstorm forces them to take shelter in a mansion-like ryokan (traditional inn) that seems... weirdly untouched by time.

The group soon realizes they're not alone. The inn is known by locals as the Yūrei House - a place believed to be haunted by spirits of those who never escaped.
