Jack Nakamura arrives in Japan to spend the summer with his cousins and join a road trip with their friend group - including the beautiful and unpredictable Luna Aoyama. Jack thinks it'll be a fun distraction, a chance to connect with Japanese culture, and maybe finally get over his awkward crush on Luna.
The group - Jack, Luna, Riku, Kaito, Yumi, and Mika- plans a weekend getaway to a serene, off-map lake town nestled in the mountains. But their plans take a turn when a thunderstorm forces them to take shelter in a mansion-like ryokan (traditional inn) that seems... weirdly untouched by time.
No phone signal. No Wi-Fi. No people. And the eerie manager who lets them in disappears before sunset. π
The group soon realizes they're not alone. The inn is known by locals as the YΕ«rei House - a place believed to be haunted by spirits of those who never escaped.
Now, they're being stalked by ghostly figures, dreamlike illusions, and voices whispering secrets each of them has tried to forget.
