'Where are we going mom?" Liam asked.
"To our new apartment..." Amelia said.
"Is dad gonna be there with us?" he questioned.
"Maybe..." I opened the door. "Surprise!"
When Amelia finally gets a chance for a new life, to meet new people and to excel academically, she takes it without hesitation. She meets Theo and Theodore, both being complete opposites of each other, she has to decide who her heart belongs to, and if taking the risk at the end of the ride is worth it or not...
In this series, you may feel love, empathy, or heartlessness (no judgement here:), but it's important no remember that this is not all fiction, many of the things that Amelia experiences happen to real people. When your mom leaves you, and so does your dad shortly after, how do you be a role model to your four-year-old brother when you yourself are just twelve? Her parents may have failed, but she always continues to inspire. She made the best of what they had, and never gave up on providing for her little brother.
She joins a detective agency training undergrads for academy. The L.A.P.D. is being endangered and without further ado, she and her fellow team members start working on the "Rudolph Case."
But the real question isn't about her character, it's about survival.
