Brick 2025 - Trapped, Watched, and Out of Time

Have you ever had that dream where you're stuck in a place and can't get out-no matter how hard you try? That's exactly how I felt watching Brick (2025)... and I'm still not over it.

This German sci-fi thriller starts with a couple, Tim and Olivia, trying to fix their broken relationship after losing their baby. But their world turns upside down when they wake up to find every door and window in their apartment sealed shut-covered by strange, black bricks that no one can explain.

No phone. No internet. No escape. And the worst part? They're not alone.

As the building's residents panic, argue, and slowly fall apart, the couple tries to hold on to hope. But it's clear something (or someone) is watching them. Cameras are hidden in their homes. One neighbor vanishes. The bricks seem to be more than just walls-they feel alive.

The film is slow, tense, emotional, and then suddenly shocking. I couldn't look away.

If you love stories that trap you inside the characters' fear, give Brick a chance. I watched it on Afdah, and I honestly recommend it for anyone into sci-fi, mystery, or survival themes.
