Ever since he was a kid, a mermaid always visits Lewis Whitmore in his dreams. After his mother's death, his only way to revisit his memories of her was by joining the theater troupe and eventually making it into the acting industry. As his career flew upwards, the image of the mermaid becomes more frequent and tormenting; giving him directions that equally manipulates his reality like a schizophrenic episode. As he walked through these cinematic realms, Lewis is given a choice to either succumb to his shadows or to break away from them.
