A port of my Ao3 fic of "ZENLESS ZONE ZERO (featuring V1 from the fast paced, ULTRA VIOLENT old school FPS ULTRAKILL)", originally known as "Yeah, this is... certainly a fan fiction; V1 from ULTRAKILL ultrakills everywhere in Zenless Zone Zero and knocks some socks off or whatever!!!"

A serene V1 thinks about everything it went through as it slowly dies. How it came to interpret life and death as a gift both equal in value. How its views of murder started as a attempt at survival with a bitter aftertaste of guilt, then mercy killing for a world constantly in torment, and finally a last goodbye to a life. A goodbye that deserved to be beautiful in its own broken way.

When it finally dies a cold, lonely death in the icy depths of treachery... it found itself somewhere completely new.
