Phoenix and his ghost fire

After the ashes settle and the heavens fall silent,
not every wound forgets how to bleed.

In a world rebuilt from memory,
a ghost still burns for a god who forgot how to sleep.

And somewhere between dusk prayers and haunted smiles,
the phoenix stirs-
drawn not by light,
but by the echo of a flame that never left.

Some stories don't end.
They just wait for the night to quiet...
so they can begin again.
