Explicit chapters will be labelled as such in an authors note at the beginning of the chapter!
Trigger warnings : not intended for minors to read. substance abuse. cursing. sexual content. self-harm. suicide mentions. and most importantly, TW: bad writer, I'm rusty i haven't written a fic since my early teenage years cut me the slack namlings :( . These trigger warnings may change and be updated more specifically as i write.
This takes place !!BEFORE!! the either of them went to the games. In this story universe they are close friends who hang out often, Nam-gyu works at the bar and Thanos is focused on his rap career. This heavily written with headcanons.
i suck at descriptions, no balls read it without one.
My mostly Thangyu playlist Is linked at the beginning of the first chapter <3

„Those who seek death shall live. Those who seek life shall die." ~ You never expected your life to end up like this. Homeless, broke, and with nothing left to lose, you accept the invitation to the Squid Game - a deadly competition where survival means money, and failure means death. But then you met him. With every game, every fight, every moment stolen on the edge of death, you're pulled closer together. But in a place where caring for someone could get you killed, falling for Namgyu might be the most dangerous gamble of all. ~ This is my first time doing a first person story so it gets better after each chapter! (I hope) It's half Y/N half OC I'd say tbh Slow burn? English isnt my first language so I apologise for any grammar mistakes! Bar tab, Heart stab | Thangyu
BOOK 1/2 Namgyu doesn't like loud people, messy drink orders, or purple-haired guys who act like they own the room. Unfortunately, Thanos is all three. When Thanos stumbles into Namgyu's bar on a packed Saturday night and starts downing drinks like he's trying to forget something, Namgyu figures he'll be gone in an hour. Instead, Thanos keeps coming back-mouthy, reckless, and annoyingly hard to ignore. They don't like each other. They don't want to like each other. But between the snide remarks, spilled shots, and lingering glares, something starts brewing-and it's not just the drinks. - 1🥇#thangyu 7/10/2025 2 🥈#namgyu 7/10/2025Complete

@sniftythangyu 's original story . cover art by : @giselle748613 on wattpad / soojin.is.just.a.girl on tiktok ! thangyu, no one dies au. (and namgyu is a streamer/gamer!) thanos/su-bong and namgyu have been friends since high school. they are STILL friends(they like eachother though.), and they live in a apartment together now. they decide to keep it a secret, since namgyu nor thanos would want their fans finding out they live together. so they made a promise, don't reveal they live together. but you know, some promises never last. they break, y'know. on accident..but also on purpose. some people think thanos and namgyu are friends or live together, but namgyu denies it as thanos pretends he doesn't see the theories. you also may ask why they aren't together yet, right? why, it's because of thanos' girlfriend, Yeona Se-na. Will they get together?
