Happiness Gone Wrong

When somebody first looks at Maddison Rodgers, she's the happiest girl in the world. With a constant smile on her face, her everlasting happiness seems to rub of on everybody in her path. No one in a million years would guess that she's on the run from the law. So when she moves to little town of Jefferson and attends the local high school, her happiness is contagious. Everyone seems enchanted by this sweet little girl. Everyone except bad ass Jason greenwood. He takes an immediate dislike to her peppy attitude and happy smiles, finding her composure all a little too fake. The more time he spends around Maddison, the more off she seems. Secrets, lies, and betrayal create a bumpy road for everybody dragged into this mess. Add in a little bit of Maddison's happiness and you've got a recipe for disaster. Do all stories really have happy endings? Or is this just happiness gone wrong?
