On a planet in a distant galaxy lives an intelligent alien species: the Nekojin. They have an extreme obsession with science, especially the periodic table. They name almost everything after chemical elements. Even their own names are the Latin names of elements.

They possess the technology to travel to other planets, but they choose not to, in order to prevent war-because they are absolute pacifists for whom murder is the greatest sin.

This changed because of an extremely curious and adventurous female Nekojin named Lithium7. She traveled across her entire planet and its three moons, but she wanted to see more of the universe. So she began to explore her home galaxy and worlds beyond.
