When Sierra is brought under the mountain by the Attors after being the sole survivor of her village, she believes it to be pure bad karma. Survival is nearly impossible when you're the only mortal among creatures that despise your kind and see you as nothing more than entertainment. Her chances of escaping Amarantha's mountain seem nonexistent.
But when you've lost everything that once mattered, you have a choice: let it destroy you, or turn it into something greater. Sierra seizes her chance to escape-even if it means risking her own life-refusing to be anyone's plaything, least of all a Doll.
Then she encounters Rhysand, a mysterious fae who always appears at Amarantha's side. He torments her, tests her, and seems just as dangerous as the mountain itself. Yet there's something in his actions that doesn't quite add up-why does he keep her secret to himself when he's supposed to deliver it to Amarantha?
In a world of deceit, danger, and impossible choices, survival might mean trusting the one who seems most untrustworthy.

For everyone who is sick of waiting for Sarah J Maas to finally release Azriel's story. And everyone who doesn't want him to end up with Gwyn or Elaine. Here is my version of his love story that takes place right at the end of the original A Court of Thorns and Roses. Amarantha's daughter, Marlie, just got out from Under the Mountain where she got trapped for 50 years, just for trying to confront her mother. When Feyre, Cursebreaker, manages the trials and frees everyone, Marlie somehow finds herself winnowed into Velaris, Rhysands other Court. There, she raises the attention of the High Lord and the inner circle for entering through the warding. Especially Azriel's attention. (I wrote this story nearly three years ago, so it's not my greatest work, but I wanted to share it so you can have my take on Azriel's story before Sarah J.
