Golenn

Some 90,000 years after the destruction of Earth, three distinct subsets of humans - The Lancers, The First Humans, and The New Human Consortium - have all managed to make a home for themselves within the distant Golenn-5 Galaxy.
Under the umbrella governmental system - The Planetary Science Cooperative - The Lancers and First Humans have managed to maintain shadowy control of the Golenn-5 Galaxy and its various lesser-empires for tens of thousands of years.
Then, through a newly-industrialized and streamlined wormhole opening, the populated and powerful New Human Consortium stumbled upon the Golenn-5 Galaxy; quickly taking to claiming territory and waging wars against the native populations, throwing a wrench into the machine of PSC hegemony.
The story begins three years after the ending of a millenia long string of wars between The New Human Consortium and The Inixian Empire over control of The Terrafin System, reduced in terms to simply 'The Xunar War'.
When a former Avionic Gunner for the Consortium under the effects of transmutation stands in as a war criminal and successfully facilitates a prisoner exchange, he receives an offer to aid in a plot of galactic upheaval with universal implications.
Golenn is an analysis of empirical power; how they are built and how they are toppled. Told through the eyes of a soldier, a refugee, a laborer, a teacher, an android, the right-hand of a dying empire, and the right-hand of the predominant empirical power. In a universe wherein the responsible parties are shrouded in anonymity, you are asked to determine; who is guilty? Who is good and who is evil? Who is worthy of redemption, and what threshold do you have to cross to earn it?
