Night skies, and watery eyes Dare not make a sound Sitting on the ground Shall I cry for help Shall I stay silent Slipping to a tainted black While thunder cracks Night skies, and watery eyes Please save me from the madness Save me from my sadness Credit to my best friend Trin for helping me with my poem. Desperation, stemmed from years of trauma, can really turn an innocent soul into a cold hearted monster. I used to wish I couldn't feel things. I never thought the saying was true- "Be careful what you wish for" because my wishes were never more than just 'wishes' before.
