This story is based on my real-life experiences, though I must admit - I'm not entirely sure how real-life stories are usually written. Since this is my first novel, I'm still exploring how much one is allowed to modify the truth while telling their own story. I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me.
