Japan is dead. The cities are empty, the people either gone or undead. Zombies roam the streets, and only a few have managed to survive. One of them is Till - guarded, angry, and with barely any memories of the world before it all went to hell. Between canned food, rusted knives, and the desperate search for something that feels like normal, he crosses paths with Ivan: calm, sarcastic, unreadable. Maybe too unreadable.
They're as different as night and day - and yet Ivan doesn't seem to want to leave Till alone. Or Till's mind.
But they're not the only ones left alive. And not everyone they meet is a friend.
As they search for safety, they stumble across forgotten places, strange survivors, and situations that might pull them closer - or tear them apart.
