"Following her parent's divorce, everything in Makayla Summers's life seems to fall out of place. When her happy-go-lucky father decides to move to Philadelphia, it's just the beginning of the worst. Or so she believes.
Starting afresh in a new high school for senior year, she discovers a wasteland of overly cocky idiots, and makes the unfortunate mistake of attracting the attention of the three most popular ones. Thus begins her journey down insanity-road. Will she find love and friendship in the company of the dangerously idiotic trio? Or perhaps even make enemies down the road? Who knows?

/Damien/ "Has the Queen finally accepted defeat and withdrawn to the help of the Knight?" Snorting, I rolled my eyes. ";You can't give yourself such a high title like that. If anything, you're just the stable boy." Grinning still, he moved closer to me, whispering into my ear, "Except this one will get the girl."
/Leo/ "Do you really think," he spoke, his breath tickling the side of my face, "that that's all you mean to me?" Leo let out his breath, sighing, and before I could react, I felt his forehead come down on my shoulder, snuggling against the crook of my neck. "You're an idiot for not knowing it."
/Nick/ "Don't start getting all cuckoo on me. I'm the good guy." I stopped in my tracks on the middle of the side-walk and stared at Nick. "Are you single?" That stupid grin that most cocky guys considered to be flirty made its way to his face. "Don't you be getting any hopes, honey," he whispered in a sultry voice that made me want to slap him. Inside, I was secretly relieved. I was one less of a boy who would hit on me.
