Tales of Rootbound is a mythic fantasy rooted in nature, kinship, and survival. If you enjoyed Watership Down or The Secret of NIMH, you'll feel right at home. These stories are full of wonder and warmth, but also danger, death, and the weight of survival.
While not excessively graphic, the themes may be intense for younger readers-including mentions of loss, clan customs, and mature (but naturalistic) family structures.
Recommended for readers 13 and up.
