"I warned you enough."

A voice whispers from the dark, followed by a quiet sigh.

"Humans really are f*cking stupid."

A pair of eyes silently watch as a girl walks through the dark corridor, fear flickering in her gaze. With visible curiosity. That fatal thing.

Her steps aren't even heavy, but in the eerie silence, they were too loud. Her breathing became unsteady. She doesn't notice the flicker in the lights. Or the cold breeze brushing her skin. Or the fact that she is exactly where she shouldn't be.

The unseen silhouette turns and begins to walk away, probably bored and disappointed.

"They always wander where they shouldn't. Like moths. Flying toward the flame of the unknown. Pathetic."

Suddenly, there are more footsteps. Heavier.

A door creaks, somewhere along the corridor.

She turns.

"Let's see if you make it to morning, my dear little moth."
