Influx Saga

For thousands of years, interdimensional creatures known only as the Gola have been invading and trying to wipe out the world of Terus. Emerging from portals, they attacked every human city in short order. Most countries fell within the first years of the threat. 60% to 75% of the planet's population were the cost of this struggle. Humanity was on the brink of extinction, until the Empowered emerged as the savior of the world. Known as Emp this superhumans fought the Gola until they were forced to flee to their home dimension. However, as strong and resourceful as the Emps were, they couldn't destroy the threat of the Gola, only drive them away. Now every so often the Gola return in large scale invasion, Influxes.

Now a new generation of Emps are coming of age. Seventeen-year-old David Franklin is a powerful and intelligent young warrior. His goal in life is to eliminate the Gola and the Influxes. This will not be easy. Most would say it is impossible. No one in the world knows why the Gola attack or where they even come from. David is determined to figure it out.

Despite his might and resolve, he will not be able to do this alone. He will have to gain resources and allies as he goes. He will also have to learn more about his own power and the past of the world if he is to stop the next Influx.
