But that was not what happened.
Sergeant Adrian Aurelius embarked in a drop pod, alone; ready to make planetfall. But mysterious phenomena propelled the Astartes onto a planet that was not the intended target... nor within the system the battle was taking place... Neither was it within the same galaxy.
This story follows his adventures in this new world, as he is forced to adapt to the environment around him... and whatever else it may contain.

After the fall of the Imperial fortress world, a young Cadian and his comrades have fought in the never-ending, brutal war that consumes the galaxy. A mission against the forces of Chaos goes wrong, and he finds himself engulfed in a Warp portal, transporting him to a frozen, dead world where he is unable to contact the Imperium of Man. However, he is not alone, for men of iron walk the planet, and as he comes to learn more about the robotic population, his faith will be tested and he'll be forced to make heretical choices to survive. A Strike Force of Blood Angels and Lamenters are thrust into a completely new reality, along with a fleet of Imperial Refugees. But how? And Why? If fate is to be believed, the Emperor has sent the Great Angel's Sons here with a task. They are to protect an infant Mankind from an encroaching Darkness. But even though this galaxy despises everything about them, will they be able to save it? This is a story I have already been making and writing for some time. Guilliman leads the forces of humanity in a desperate struggle for survival and liberated worlds after worlds, alas not every corner of the galaxy could be saved. The Lamenters chapter, what few remained that is, desperately evacuated what they can on an isolated sector known as Cadere. On the face of certain annihilation, a strike force from one of the legendary founding chapters, the imperial Fist, complimented with the aid of adeptus custodes manages to reach the isolated chapter. Saving what they can, the fleeing imperial forces gambled everything they have and escaped through a warp storm. As if the Emperor wills it, the imperial armada miraculously survives. Though they arrived into a galaxy they know nothing of.
