Celestar Satine was a sorcerer on the run. He had stolen a royal warlock's spell book and lost it the same day to a group of bandits. He was wounded, his pride was hurt, and worst yet, he had lost his last chance. A curse had been placed on his bloodline, dooming him to die at 30. The Royal Magic Tower has the sole formula for making the philosopher's stone. Magic ran through his veins, but it ravaged his body. His life has been a battle of having immense potential but nowhere to direct it. Dragging his ragged body through a small town, he found a building still lit by a fireball. Celestar walked into the bookstore filled with more than he thought he needed. Veldros de Dolores was an old-world vampire. He has spent millennia drinking bland, unremarkable blood. He was one of the last members of his coven to appoint a thrall or sire fledgling descendants. He spent most of his days wasting away in his bookshop. His only source of amusement is writing books and selling copies of his old diaries. Many passersby were enchanted by the ever-changing pulp fiction in the darkened small bookstore. The bookstore was open overnight, collecting unusual visitors. One night, a blood-soaked man stumbled in. The smell of his blood would leave Veldros forever enchanted.

Legend has it, if you stand at the edge of the cliff at the crack of dawn holding a candle and your most beloved possession, you can open a doorway between dimensions. So when Calista Davis turns a deaf ear to every mock she's gotten from the people of Erini, and stands at the edge of the cliff holding a candle and her mother's pendant, she's not sure if she can leave or something else comes through. Suddenly, her ever so lonely life isn't lonely anymore as a chiseled face with a pair of scintillating red eyes, who claims to be the King of the planet Vakenes, appears out of nowhere. Her boring days take a dramatic turn and soon she's visiting planets she'd never heard the names of. In addition, she gets surrounded by troops of vicious demons, blood curses, and the threats of the demon protector, who wants her dead. ___ FIRST PLACE in the Clover Awards FIRST PLACE in the Flower Awards SECOND PLACE in the Regal Awards ____ Reader's Review: "YOU'RE MEANING TO TELL ME YOU AREN'T PUBLISHED?
