After a week of tiring missions, Ryder decides the crew must take a vacation. But when half of the pups board the wrong plane during a miscommunication, Chase, Rubble, Zuma and Liberty must face the dangers of the Californian wilderness and find their way back home. (Loosely inspired by Disney's 1993 film Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey)
A/N: This is a story I started about a year ago, before Fanfiction.net went downhill. Having never given the story a proper ending, I have decided to do so here. There are a few chapters already done, so expect a few updates soon and be warned: some chapters may get retooled/edited to better fit the story tone.
