Wylie and Marley grew up together, they went through so much. But they never confessed their feelings for one another. Wylie got an opportunity to expand on his band in California, offering for Marley to come along. She declined and stayed in their small home town. As much as he hated himself for it, he left to go peruse his dreams. He never once stopped thinking of Marley, which was why he decided to make a return to his dead end town ten years later.
