Coalstrike was known to be one of the greatest warriors in Ashclan. Some have even said he would have been a great leader. But all of that changed when a terrible incident occurred involving his mate, changing Coalstrike completely and becoming a shell of himself. This was just the beginning of something much worse that was awakening.

And while Goldenshine has felt immense relief in seeing her son attempt to redeem himself, she carries her own share of burdens - her sister, Snowflight, has still not been released from Snowstorm, Swiftflight's best friend, and the reason for this is still a complete mystery.
