After the earthquakes, the ground started cracking- deep, silent, and spreading caves appeared. Then people started vanishing, some bodys reappeared mauled..some stayed vanished.
Kay's sister was one of them.
Everyone says it was just an animal. But kay heard the scream. She remembers the call. And she refuses to to give up on it. When she follows the trail into the woods, somethings follows her back.

It isn't merciful.
