Many people say that time heals every open wound, that's a lot of bullshit. Wounds over time we hide them, we try to forget they exist but they are always there waiting for the right moment to reopen, reappear from the past at the moment you thought you had moved on.

Victoria Thane has just moved from Austin to Phoenix with her stepmother Cynthia Morales. Contrary to what you might think, she was not at all excited about the move to come because even though she did not have many friends the few she did have she did not want to leave them behind. Arriving at the new school, as expected, no one spoke to her. She seemed to be a reserved, shy girl, struggling to settle in. Later, however, she manages to make friends with a boy who, she does not know it, but will take her to the bottom of an abyss from which alone it will be difficult to get out.

Slade Thatcher is a typical American movie playboy; all the girls in the school always fall at his feet and try to get his attention. He, however, is always cold and aloof with everyone, trusting no one but his two best friends from childhood. He has always lived in Phoenix with his mother Dasy, a lady who had to raise him alone after her now-ended affair with his father and who still struggles to get away from a bottle of alcohol. Slade is mysterious and the thought of having feelings other than anger and frustration gives him disgust. But the meeting with the new student will be the event that will make him change his mind.
