on october 1st, 1994, five friends named deena johnson, her brother josh johnson, her best friends; kate schmidt, emerald joy "emma" dejardin and emma's cousin; simon kalivoda, try to save deena's "ex" girlfriend; samantha fraser, and their town, shadyside, from a 300 year old curse that was started by a so called witch named sarah fier, the curse made the town misfortunate and full of killings every week/year.
meanwhile, their neighbors in sunnyvale are the exact opposite.
the sun always shined. smiles, laughs, and wins were persistent.
past, gruesome true tales of shadyside were revealed, 1978, 1965, 1950, 1935, 1922, 1904, up until 1666.
will they be able to end the curse together?
