Plight of an Empire

But one day everything went wrong. Dragons were gone. The forest that before was full of different types of dragons was now just a big tree labyrinth. Not a scale in sight. However, there was one exception. The Midnight Pearl. But why is that? Where did other dragons go? Where did the Midnight Pearl go and where did it come from? What is it? The Children of Destiny
¡TW! Character death, child abuse, child death, war, gore, violence, mentioned racism(ish) ¡TW! (If any of these themes upset you, you don't have to read this!) Evander, a young boy who was supposedly kicked out of his tribe and raised by flying snake-tailed lions basically his entire life, finds out that he and another kid are part of a very important prophecy that could stop the big war that's going on. Before he does anything, however, he has to find the other child of the prophecy before anyone else does to fulfill the prophecy. Will the perilous journey through tribe territory get him killed because of his so-called "dangerous" abilities or will he survive long enough to see the war finally come to an end as he's always hoped it would? In the kingdom of Bethnatash a cruel dictator has sent out word to his subjects that his spoiled son wants to make one of them his bride. Without any choice in the matter Mira is called to the palace where she and several more women will be forced to play into the Prince's sick idea of matchmaking. But with a handsome stable boy and a rival prince, maybe things won't be all so bad.
