Hannah Abrams, a feisty but sometimes sweet twenty-eight year old, moves back to the town of Twin Lakes. She's hoping the town she grew up in will inspire her, give her a new fire. Instead it gives her a war of her heart in the means of James Black, her crush from her college years.

James is in town partaking in a charity racing match after making himself a family name in the formula one world. He'd known of Hannah in college, but hadn't really pursued much of a friendship with her, no matter how badly he wanted to.
