Iris Mays knew being accepted to a prestigious high school as a lower class citizen would have it's ups and downs.
But she didn't know one of those downs would be getting betrothed to the son of an A-list celebrity, who also happens to be a dashingly rude prince.
Jasper Bloodwyn, the most handsome person on campus- but also the most aggravating. With their betrothal, comes situations Iris never knew she'd be placed in.
She embarks on a quest to finally be married with Jasper, but has no idea of what their union brings.
Her trials of torture, both figuratively and sometimes literally, both shape her into the person she is destined to be, but also tears her apart trying to be the person she wants to be.
