Harry and Charles, two brothers that were raised in war, but after the death of their parents, life only goes downhill.
Being raised in an orphanage is rough. Rules are strict, food is terrible, and kids are assholes. The only good thing is that Harry and Charles have each other.
But soon, they would lose that too.
After a traumatic event takes place in the orphanage, Charles decides that he's had enough, and (accidentally) abandons his younger brother in search of a better life, leaving Harry, alone, sad, and confused.
Harry runs from the orphanage shortly after his abandonment. Charles is in search for his younger brother.
Both boys get placed into new homes. Harry in the Dursleys, and Charles in a cold but kind one.
The two brothers grow up and become very opposite. Charles joins the Ministry while Harry, who is suffering from trauma and PTSD, becomes the ministry's most wanted "criminal".
What will happen when the two boys finally reunite after a decade to find that they hate each other?
(NOTE: this is not a wbwl or evil harry story, he's more of an anti hero and is still kinda the chosen one)

But in his fifth year, the black haired, green eyed girl he literaly crashed into on Platform 9 3/4 was the one that kept him looking. And just his luck; it's his worst enemy's younger sister. But no matter how much he lies to himself, insults her, and looks away. he can't stop himself for falling for Penny Potter and her emerald eyes. Harry Potter and the demons in his head
This story is about Harry Potter having a mental illness. "If we interpret the story as Harry's fantasy, then the Dursleys are Harry's real parents, and the Potters are imaginary. The Durselys either can't cope with the increasingly-delusional boy living with them, or perhaps they are merely abusive, and it's the abuse that's making him delusional. In any event, the parent-figures constantly mistreat him, favor the brother, and inflict endless cruelty and humiliation on him. One day, Harry snaps, and Dudley (who is really Harry's brother) is severely injured, in a way requiring repeated hospital treatments. (In the delusion, Harry imagines that a pig's tail is magically grown from Dudley's buttocks.) As a result of this incident, Harry is taken away to a "special school." This comes from a theory from a reddit user called, u/Mr_Broomstick nine years ago, but I decided to take it up a level and bring this theory to life via story. I hope you enjoy it.Complete
