Her body was sore. Ekko tried to get her up, but she still lay on that damn ground, watching down where she lost her family. Her fight was over, that she knew. She couldn't move, she felt lost, and she had already lost everything. Or almost everything.
One name, that was enough to finally get her up and changed everything: Caitlyn.
The moment Caitlyn saw Ambessa in Mel's Arms, she could stop fighting. She felt the adrenaline leave her body, and the pain started to consume her. Piltover was saved, as save as it could be. Every Noxian stopped fighting, and it was clear: They won the war, but lost good people. But Caitlyn felt like she wouldn't survive to build it up again. She drifted away. It was one voice that called her name, that gave her her will to fight back: Vi.
