" I got scared and frantic, putting periods where commas are supposed to be used."
What do you do when you fall in love with someone you're not supposed to? How can you cheer someone on, someone you love truly, while knowing you're supposed to let go?
Donna Jade Davis, more commonly known as "Jade" is a 23-year old flight attendant who secretly have feelings for her long-time bestfriend, Amanda Martin. She has a long blonde feathered hair that reflects the sun's rays, round hazel eyes where her real emotions surface, and heart-shaped lips that are as red as a velvet cake. Yes, Jade is a beautiful woman. Today, she's wearing a tight mauve shirt paired with a pantsuit and a choker. On a regular day, she would often prefer to wear pastel-colored tight shirt or peasant blouse matched with a pair of bell bottom or baggy pants. One thing is sure though: even if she might look like a fashionista, she doesn't really care about how she looks in front of other people. Jade just wants to hear compliments coming from Amanda, and that would happen if she wears something that would catch the attention of a public figure.
Jade has the accent of the people from New Jersey since she's from Cape May, and in every conversation, you would definitely hear her say "Good heavens!" or something with "going to the shore" at least once. One of her mannerisms is that she is always fondling her hair, as a sign of lack of self-confidence. Also, Jade is embarrassed to admit that she likes singing, because she thought that singers are just like actors who are too dramatic.
Jade is so sure of her identity: she likes women, specifically Amanda. But the underlying problem in this is how she would be admitting her feelings towards her, in a way that she wouldn't be disgusted or think that Jade is crazy for liking another girl. She always knew that the social acceptance for people like her wouldn't be a piece of cake.
