The Season In Between

Two people in their 20s, both quietly falling apart in different ways. Both asking: Am I where I'm supposed to be? Why does it feel like everyone else has moved forward? What if I don't know what comes next?

One of them leaves the city - burnt out, worn thin, and searching for silence. They find themselves in Bellrose, a slow, small town nestled in the countryside, hoping that distance might help them remember who they are.

The other has always lived in Bellrose. While friends and family have moved on with their lives far away, they've stayed behind, caught in the quiet ache of wondering if staying still means falling behind.

They meet somewhere in the middle - between change and stillness, between late mornings and long walks, between shared silences and simple conversations. There's no grand romance, no loud revelations. Just two people trying to feel okay again, and finding comfort in each other's presence.
