Marcella "Marcie" Wayne, or Annabelle "Ann" Anderson as she preferred to be called, a thirteen-year-old girl, did the one thing that was out of the ordinary in society. Moving out of the mansion, out of the cold and dark city known as Gotham, and into the bright lights of Paris, France. She had lived with the Waynes for ten years, but the warmth she yearned for never reached her. Their eyes held secrets, their whispers echoed in the halls, and the love she craved was always just out of her grasp. Ann felt like an outsider, a shadow in their grandiose lives. So, with a suitcase filled with her few possessions and a heart fueled by determination, she boarded a plane to the City of Love. Odd how a thirteen-year-old could live independently in a foreign city, but that was the world she knew, a world where she had to fend for herself. And she was willing to do whatever it took to find the happiness she never had. However, during her time in Paris, something happened that changed everything for her...
