After the passing of their beloved mother Rylee, siblings Sophia and Stanlee return to their childhood home to say goodbye-and to face a grief too heavy for words.

As they enter their what they used to call "home" they are met by the presence of their father, Mike. He greets them with a hug and thanks them for making the journey to help sort through their mother's belongings.

Among the belongings, they discover an old chest filled with handwritten bedtime stories, the ones that she once read to them many years ago.

But when they open it, Both Sophia & Stanlee along with Sophia's young son Michael are swept into a magical journey where each story becomes a world they must survive and navigate to move forward.

From whimsical kingdoms to dystopian wastelands, ghostly towns to sunlit dreamscapes, every chapter reveals not just the heart of their mother's imagination, but pieces of themselves they had lost along the way. Rekindling a friendship they thought was long lost.
