This is a love story between a man and a woman. If only things are as simple as they sound. Mr Kieran Knight, CEO of an Insurance Firm and Co-Owner of a Private Investigation Agency. A handsome and sexy man with no emotion what-so-ever. Growing up without parents and the occasional mafia running into his office has drained the blood of his dark heart. Easy nights with a line-up of women for him to pick from, are common and plentiful in his attempt to fill that hollow void of his heart. For a man empty of emotion but full of charm and money, would he ever expect to feel something for the engaged woman that just burst into his office? Miss Alina Simmons, soon-to-be married to a businessman and heiress to one of the world's biggest International Bank. After her mother's death from the result of a mafia dealing gone wrong, it has become her life's mission to keep out of any gang business and to protect her father. Her wedding is only a day away, but with her father in hospital and her fiance's shady 'car accidents', she decides to make a trip to the Insurance Company handling the claims for her fiance's many cars. With trust issues, insecurities, a shit load of money and a hot body, how will Alina fare against the very alluring Kieran Knight? Crashing into his office seems like a good start. ================================= Guess who's back again? Hey lovelies! I'm back with a new book and I don't intend for it to be long but we'll see how the story progresses ;) 1. No copying, plagiarising of any sort. If I find out of such activity, I'll get Kieran to pull his gun out on your thick skull :') 2. Got the inspiration for this right after I was done with the first draft of 'Eros' Destiny'. ED really wrecked my brain and I wanted to return to Earth for my next book so here we are. XD Hope you enjoy this as much as I did writing it! :D With love and regards, Janice GoldShaken

Believing in Miracles [COMPLETE]

21 parts Complete Mature

In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. There wouldn't be changes in the plot, just hopefully a better way of sharing my thoughts. If it's still crap, then I apologize I'm only human :) ****
