"And that's what you guys are trying so hard to accomplish? Buildings, and electricity that gets shut off when you need it most?" Takemi couldn't reply for a moment, but held her smile, even if pained.

"Yeah, there were major flaws in the world we knew. That's why I'm hoping we can make it better than what it was before." He hummed in contemplation.

"And where's your brother now?" Again she couldn't answer for a moment, but her smile wasn't there this time. And Kinro felt like he had made an error.

"Oh, uh- I-" She shook her head, standing up from her spot abruptly, the male almost recoiling back from the action.

"It's fine. But maybe another time. Come on, I'm ready to go back and cook this up now."
