Valeria had been living on her own ever since she came out as bi and her parents reacted... predictably. She busted her ass to put herself through school, maintain all of her bills, and figure out how to be an adult with no help outside of her best friend Ben and his family. As she was entering her senior year, she figured she deserved to let loose a little. What she wasn't expecting was to get a surprise roommate who oozed privilege and didn't even know how to clean a bathroom. What's worse, they worked in the same department within the pack. With her home life, work life, and even social life taken over, Valeria is over it.

Brian was looking to escape the heartbreak of a broken bond anyway he could, and Mountain Springs seemed as good a place as any to do that. He'd never lived away from home, but home was too painful when everything reminded him of him. He was always told "the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else," but so far, he was still just a mess, and the men and women he took to bed only provided a fleeting distraction from the grief tearing him apart.
