Tucked in his wallet, there was a print ad for her lingerie brand, edges worn from fingers tracing the outline of her waist when boredom gnawed at him.

An image to pass the time, to burn through the long and cold winter nights when there was nothing else to hold.

The photo had been folded and unfolded a hundred times in his idle moments.

She was fantasy, indulgence, a pin-up angel to ease tension on long nights. Nothing more.

Just a decadent treat tailored as candy for the eyes.

Until the sound reached him.

That sound.

Jisoo had always believed in love-the kind that made your heart race, the kind that made the world feel lighter when you were with someone. She never imagined that love could be ripped from her hands so abruptly, leaving only emptiness in its place. Suho, the man she thought she would spend her life with, had become a chapter that ended too soon, and yet, life had a crueler twist in store. Across the city, Taehyung was fuming behind the polished doors of his family estate. A man of discipline, control, and icy perfection, he had never tolerated unpredictability-least of all heartbreak. But when the woman he had planned to marry left him at the very last moment, his life, which had always been neatly ordered, fell into chaos. And now, by the insistence of his parents, he was to marry... a stranger. Their worlds collided in a contract neither wanted. Jisoo, heartbroken and betrayed by circumstance, faced the unimaginable: leaving the only love she had ever known, stepping into the arms of a man who made no effort to hide his disdain. Taehyung, stern, serious, and unyielding, saw only annoyance in her presence-a living reminder of a life he hadn't chosen. Forced together by duty, surrounded by expectations, and burdened with resentment, they entered a marriage built on obligation, not affection. Yet, fate has a way of twisting the simplest truths. In stolen glances, accidental touches, and moments of vulnerability, the icy walls around Taehyung's heart would begin to crack-and Jisoo, the girl he claimed to despise, would be the one to see the man behind the cold mask. This was a story of hate that simmered too close to love, of a bond forged in resentment that would test every limit of the heart, and of two people who had no choice but to discover that sometimes, love comes when you least expect it... and often, in the most unwilling hearts.

She gasped upon seeing him after so many years. The world around her seemed to stop moving there he was, walking casually, hands shoved into his pockets, gazing at an item displayed in the mall window. Her thoughts were abruptly pulled back to reality by a tiny voice. "Mommy... I want ice cream..." Her daughter's voice sliced through the silence in her head, grounding her. "Yes... come, let's go," she said softly, taking her daughter's hand and walking towards the ice cream stall. "Which flavor do you want?" she asked gently. The little girl placed her tiny index finger thoughtfully on her chin, as though deciding something monumental. She studied the colorful array of ice cream flavors before pointing and saying, "Strawberry," with a little boxy smile lighting up her face. "Okay," her mother smiled and turned to the shopkeeper. "One strawberry, please." But her gaze involuntarily shifted back toward him. Now, he stood with another woman at the same place, their arms linked. He leaned in, whispering something to her. The unknown woman chuckled, lightly hitting his chest at whatever he had said. As if he sensed something, his eyes lifted searching, scanning until they landed on her. She was already staring, her gaze filled with longing and an ache she couldn't hide. Something inside him stirred. A strange pull. A gasp escaped his lips as a tear welled up in his eye. He instinctively lowered his gaze, confused by the sudden rush of emotion. Why did it feel like something was slipping through his fingers? And when he looked up again, The spot where she had stood just moments ago was empty. The woman with those eyes full of longing... was gone. Who is SHE? He thought Sequence of Fate Between Worlds

The first time Sophie realized her life could change in a single night, she had no idea it would unravel so completely. It was supposed to be harmless...just a drink, some laughter, a little escape from the monotony of her daily routine. But the city has a way of hiding secrets in its glittering lights, and she had stumbled straight into one. She remembered the way his eyes had caught hers across the crowded room, the slow, dangerous smile that made her stomach flip, the magnetic pull she couldn't resist. He was everything she shouldn't want and yet, everything she wanted in that moment. By the time the night ended, she was alone, heart racing, sheets tangled around her like evidence of a decision she wasn't ready to face. And she thought that was the end of it. She was wrong. Because three weeks later, when the world felt the same and nothing had changed, Sophie discovered the truth. She wasn't alone. Not really. Her hands shook as she stared at the tiny lines that confirmed it: her life had shifted irreversibly. A secret grew inside her, a mystery she hadn't asked for. And the father...who he was, what he would do was a question that could change everything. Little did she know, he was closer than she thought. Closer than anyone could imagine. And when their worlds collided, there would be no turning back. Some mistakes aren't meant to be forgotten. Some nights aren't meant to be erased. Some love... finds you when you least expect it.
