In the Ninth World - where time has eroded empires into myth and broken machines masquerade as miracles - Cassandra dares to break a sacred law.

All her life, she has been haunted by prophetic dreams: fractured visions she only understood when it was too late. But one dream is sharp, urgent, and impossible to ignore. It calls her to the Sea of Rust - a cursed expanse where metal decays, and memory itself corrodes - to enter means exile...or death. There, buried among the bones of titanic war-machines and dead cities, Cassandra uncovers a fragment of something long forgotten... something that remembers being a god.

Now marked by the fragment, Cassandra is on the run. Hunted by the fanatical Iron Order, and haunted by visions, Cassandra must seek refuge in Rusthaven. But within its walls waits the Rumi: a clandestine guild of relic-hunters led by the enigmatic Azra. Their knowledge may be her salvation - or her undoing.

The past is alive in the Ninth World. It whispers in data-ghosts, bleeds through rust....and dreams of rebirth.
