Her dearest friend and brother in all but blood had granted her the choice. After all the wrong she'd done after losing herself to vengeance against her true father Uther, and unfortunately her naively trusting half-brother Arthur. She had been certain that her passing would be filled with pain and loneliness, and yet, Merlin was in fact, still her Merlin, her dearest friend. 'A second chance. To know the love and life you've been denied.' he had said hoping against hope that she would be the girl he'd loved as a sister again. She knew he didn't have faith in her. Nor did she in herself. Still, his words stirred a hopeful longing she'd thought had long since died. Taking his hand she'd been able to conjure enough strength to push a final smile and plea 'Save me'
