Elena and Katherine are twins but they couldn't be more different.
Elena is a sweet and compassionate girl who has a normal life with a normal and handsome boyfriend. Katherine on the other hand is mischievous, bitchy and not so secretely jealous of her sister's life therefore she does everything in her power to destroy that happiness and guess what...she's succeed.
One night she kisses Damon and unfortunately Elena sees that, she's heartbroken and after breaking up with him she flies away to New York.
She starts a new life, attends medical school and after a while starts dating this man, Elijah. Until her best friend Caroline calls her begging her to come back for her impending wedding with Stefan.
Damon sees this as a chance to have Elena back until he finds out about Elijiah...things get a lot more complicated than Damon would have thought.
Will they come back together or is it Miles away.

But then one day she met Tyler, a newly made hybrid that told her something that made her return to Mystic Falls, her old home, even if she swore to herself years ago that she'll never go back again.
