Description
"He is known in the Wild as Strider," his father had once told him - but this is not that tale.
Long before the Fellowship, before the Ringbearer, and before Aragorn became King, Legolas Greenleaf was sent north to seek the heir of Isildur among the Dúnedain.
His journey led him not to Rivendell, but to Bree - a rain-soaked village where shadows passed unnoticed between the doors of the Prancing Pony and secrets survived longer than memory itself.
Yet it was not Aragorn that Legolas found there.
Instead, he encountered a stranger tied to an older darkness buried beneath the ruins of Dol Guldur... and to truths forgotten by kings, wizards, and even the Elves.
Set in the years following the Battle of the Five Armies, Beyond the Rings: Once Upon a Time in Bree follows a younger Legolas through a path of warnings, missteps, hidden loyalties, and dangerous encounters that would shape the warrior he would one day become.
Who warned Thorin Oakenshield of his father's end?
Why did Thorin once travel to Bree?
What secrets did Gandalf uncover there?
And who did Legolas truly meet in the Wild?
A companion volume to Beyond the Rings: The Legacy of the Last Age, this story explores the untold youth of Legolas and the beginning of a bond that defied duty, fate, and perhaps something even older than both.

The Ranger And The Prince.
Sapphire is an orphan elleth whom was brought up by dwarves in the Mines of Moria. Now she wanders the wilderness of Middle-Earth as one of the most skilled rangers ever known. With her skill with both bow and blade as well as the axe and daggers, she is sought out by Lord Elrond to attend a meeting of all the great races in Rivendell. There she meets Aragon, an old friend or hers who is a fellow ranger and she also makes the acquaintance of a dwarf, an elven prince, four hobbits, a wizard and two men. Along with her trusty wolf companion, Nasha, and her horse, StarLight, Sapphire is swept up in a quest to save Middle-Earth. She forges long lasting friendships with those around her and finds herself getting close to the elven prince even though they start as rivals. This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. I know every fan fic is basically that plot repeated over and over again but I just said, 'what the hell, if you can't beat them, join them' so I made this.Complete
Riders and Embers
Raised in Rivendell without parents of her own, Visenya grew up under the watchful eye of Lord Elrond and the quiet strength of Aragorn, the heir of Isildur. To her, he became more than a guardian - he was her brother in all but blood, the one who taught her the ways of the ranger while Elrond taught her healing and the lore of herbs. Stubborn, fiery, and fiercely loyal, she became known on the wild roads by a single name: Ember, for the ember-bright eyes that never seemed to dim. When the One Ring stirs again, Visenya travels at Aragorn's side into shadow. She meets Frodo and his companions in the Prancing Pony, where her blunt honesty and quiet strength mark her as an ally the hobbits cannot do without. From Bree to Rivendell, through Moria, Lothlórien, and beyond, she fights, heals, and bears the weight of choice alongside the Fellowship. But Ember's road does not end in Rivendell or Gondor. In the Riddermark - the land of horses and golden fields - she will find both love and loss, and a place where her fire burns brightest. Her path runs with the fate of Middle-earth, caught between shadow and light, courage and despair, until even the smallest ember may prove enough to keep hope alive.Complete

Middle-Earth has weathered countless storms and wars, but in the shadowed folds of the Third Age, a new and ancient evil stirs. Amidst Men, Hobbits, and Elves, walks Assena Greywood - daughter of a soldier... and a Witch. She moves like the whisper of the wind through autumn leaves - graceful, untamed, and fiercely alive. Gifted with the raw power to command the elements, Assena is a tempest cloaked in beauty, a force of nature both mesmerizing and dangerous. Yet beneath the steady calm of her gaze lies a storm of secrets. In a world where women are not meant to wield power, and Witches even less, her strength is both a rebellion and a curse. She walks a path fraught with newfound friendships, tangled beliefs, and the aching weight of a destiny she did not choose. All that hangs in the balance - the fate of Middle-Earth itself - rests on one unyielding truth: the One Ring must be destroyed. And in the heart of that perilous journey, Assena's story unfolds; like the first breath of dawn through a twilight sky. ~ Started: December 2024 Completed: May 2025 DUN DUN DUN I love middle earth Also for reference this is a Legolas SLOWBURN 🤩 I suggest knowing the narrative before reading this personal mind mess. Solely because it would make it all the more enjoyable and understandable. Yet if you haven't and you're into a bit of fantastical adventure, come along for the ride!! For fans, not all details are book/film accurate! (Like, Assena is a Witch for starters) but don't fret! I have included the best things from the Tolkien and Peter Jackson world hopefully!!!
