At ten, they threw her out. She survived the streets alone, until a man named Alex Reedus found her at fourteen. He forced her into underground fights, caged her again, and treated her worse than an animal. Her only comfort was a mysterious cat she named Fidel, who eventually helped her escape when she turned eighteen.

With stolen money, she fled to London, rebuilt her life as a bartender at a burlesque club, and learned to forgive not for others, but for herself.
