I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest.
