𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬- Rich, gorgeous, blessed and spoiled with everything a teen girl can dream of. She has access to fashion and jewellery pieces from all the best brands. Yet she has an emptiness deep in her heart yearning for a new feeling as she is stuck in her twin brother's shadow with an expectation to be poised and pretty for all audiences by those who envy her.

𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧- A boy who has been dealt the harshest hand and expected to make diamonds with rocks whilst balancing the lives of his siblings on his shoulders. A mother who had been replaced with a shell of herself and a sister who lived in a cycle of abuse and hatred. Caught in the stereotypes of a young black man who wishes to earn a stable income in a corrupt society who fails people over and over.

As their lives become increasingly intertwined they learn things about themselves and how to deal with hardships whilst leaning towards each other and becoming their own escape. Will they lean into societal standards or work on defying norms built against them?
