Fair warning I fix the Avengers in a bit of a dark way.
All Valerie knew was the Red Room. Train, train some more, train harder, and get punished when she wasn't good enough. But she was good enough to graduate the program. Then, just before her hysterectomy she gets taken by a different organization for a new purpose.
Alternatively, this is how the existence of one teenage girl completely derails Zemo's plans, stops Captain America: Civil War from happening, and somehow fixes the Avengers, albeit inadvertently. Valerie really just throws a wench in everything.
This is just a random Idea I hyperfixated on and had to write. Enjoy!
