The Balkans always seemed like the chaotic region everyone imagined it as, fighting over territory and politics. Even when things went wrong, they didn't seem to cooperate.
Even Serbia's siblings hated him, well, except for Montenegro, they had decent relations. Nothing ever seemed right in his life after Yugoslavia collapsed, the west hated him for siding with the "communists", and the world either hated him or felt distant, like he was becoming invisible.
He felt like he was falling apart, the old previous self of his being overshadowed by the problems and stress, but he quietly pushed on, trying to figure out what was going on. If his mind was playing tricks on him of if what he was seeing was reality.
Yet, as Serbia is pulled into the chaos once more, receding power, and its back tracking consequences. He was now finding himself in more problems than he had ever imagined.

Trust is Dangerous- Russia x Germany
This is a Countryhumans story about Germany and Russia. Warning: This is a slow burn. Germany is an excited and hardworking person who miraculously was accepted to one of the most prestigious universities. His foster father urges him to go to a field that is in Germany's opinion, dull and boring, as he has his own opinion on what is interesting to him. As always, there are ups and downs, but he is giddy with freedom and doesn't let anyone faze him. Until he finds that the subject his foster father wants him to pursue is a prerequisite Russia, on the other hand, is a stoic, blunt and straightforward, sometimes being aggressive and reserved. He amazingly passed the tests to be accepted to the Globally recognized university, and is ushered out of his home to get a degree to be able to help his father feed his family. he has no time for youthlike fun, frivolous adventures and romance. He expects the year to be dull but needed for his life. Both of them don't expect to become friends, and avoid eye contact. Germany then wishes to have more of the classes with Russia, just to get close. Does he succeed? That is the question. Didn't the strong, power-hungry countries with the authority start arguments and break laws, making life miserable and intolerable for the weak? Russia was content with living in a world full of disagreements as long as he was safe, but when a massive war started by a certain superpower shattered his life into millions of pieces, his point of view was not quite the same as before. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. The war happened German Empire(Reichtangle) and Austria-Hungary were fighting together with Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria1918. Austria-Hungary Died. Leaving Reichtangle and Weimar Rep. alone. 1945. TR dies. Reichtangle is trying to do S/H but uh he's immortal- 1980. East Dies. Reichtangle is doing nothing 2025. Reichtangle got killed (somehow) by a shoot in the eye and wakes up in a World without up and down and full of Stars. He sees the Axolotl. It says "You blame yourself didn't you?" "What??"
