When broke, sarcastic 22-year-old Dani moves into Apartment 4A, she thinks she's getting cheap rent and peace of mind. What she actually gets is:
A roommate who believes essential oils can fix trauma
A secret TikTok-famous guitarist with commitment issues
An illegal ferret shrine in the living room
And a landlord who's one meltdown away from bringing a flamethrower
From kitchen cults and identity reveals to fire alarms set off by incense and Pop-Tart fights, Dani quickly realizes adulthood is less about having it together-and more about choosing the least terrible disaster to live with.
Packed with sarcasm, smoke alarms, and accidental friendships, this story is perfect for fans of New Girl, chaotic found family, and anyone who's ever made a rent decision they instantly regretted.
